What is Hypnotherapy?
The word ‘Hypnosis’ relates to the level of brain wave activity experienced when we rest. The deeper we go and more relaxed we are, the more our subconscious mind becomes open to suggestion, which is where hypnotherapy can begin.
Most of our automatic responses, habits and cyclic patterns of behaviour are learned at a young age when our brain wave activity was different, and we were more suggestible. This is partly why as children we, learn so quickly.
It is not until later in life, however, that we can see how the experiences we have when we are young (whether remembered or not) have affected us. And how those programmed memories have moulded our behaviour - either positively or negatively.
Hypnotherapy for confidence (or anything for that matter) is an effective tool that can reshape our perceptions and beliefs to act in accordance with (and for the benefit of) our desires.
